Juniors
Here at Osman Tennis we offer coaching from as young as 3 years old!
With our FUN and friendly coaching programme we can guide your child from Tiny Tennis beginners right through to junior performance!
Tiny Tennis
A great introduction to tennis for pre-school children. Tiny tennis is a fun way of developing your child’s balance, co-ordination movement and ball skills. All played in a safe friendly environment. Ages 3-4 years old
Mini Tennis
Mini Tennis is a FUN, progressive coaching and playing structure designed to allow children to play in relative sized courts with the right size tennis balls and rackets.
We have regular tournaments and competitions for each of the Mini Tennis levels making their tennis fun yet challenging right from the start!
As you grow and develop your skills the tennis court and equipment increase in size too, and before you know it you’ll be playing full court and asked to play in our adult teams!
Mini Tennis Red
Is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on smaller courts with shorter rackets and softer balls. It’s just like the real thing and will give you the chance to have long rallies and play different types of shots, which should be lots of fun.
Mini Tennis Orange
Is for players aged 9 and under. It is played on slightly larger courts than Mini Tennis Red, with bigger rackets and balls that are not as soft as red balls. It’s the next stage to go through before you start playing on a full sized court and it will help players develop all the different shots, providing fun and competition.
Mini Tennis Green
Is the next step after orange ball mini tennis. It is played on a full tennis court, with bigger rackets and balls that are a little softer than yellow balls. It’s the next stage to go through before you start playing with a full compression yellow ball on a full sized court and it will help players work on and improve all aspects of their game.
Junior Tennis
Junior tennis is for players aged 11 and over. It is played on a full tennis court, with full size rackets and full compression yellow balls. It’s the last stage of your tennis development and the technique and skills that you have developed through the stages of mini tennis can now be put into practice.
